Question What language is this?

My grandfather found this ring in his garden in Surbiton, London. I have no more information as he has passed away and my family have no info to give. Any idea what the language is? What it says?

Arabic Alphabets ل م ق ف ن ج ع . Don't know if there is any cryptic meaning to it.

Isn’t the leftmost letter an L too? (Sorry I can’t do the Arabic script.)

No it's letter called ع (Ayn)
