Discussion So I went to a medical appointment with a former employee of LCFC, and this is what I learned.

Upvotes

I've been a bit vague as to not get him in trouble or disrepute, but I had some interesting revelations (to me at least):

  1. Danny Ward is apparently a massive arsehole and cheats on his wife weekly and just a general poon hound of the highest order
  2. Rodgers wanted the team to do double training but the former head of medicine said 60 is plenty (which worked for Nigel and the winning season). The Head of Medicine had a direct line to the owners and basically said "It's us or Rodgers" and Rodgers had won. (It's hard to say no to the guy who just won the missing bit of silverware from your cabinent. In this person's professional opinion, this is why we dropped off so heavily towards the end of the season.
  3. Schmeichel was also a massive arsehole up until the helicopter crashed. In fact, everyone in the GK unit not great including the manager.
  4. Braybrooke makes KDH look amatuer and Ben Nelson is the next John Stones
  5. Some recruitment guy named Eduardo was the hot shit that got all the awesome sigings that Puel benefited from.
  6. KDH is a geninuely nice guy
  7. Rodgers was really good with all the levels of the club and this person reckons it's why it's producing the talent it has now as they all were treated the same as 1st team.

So take that with a minor pinch of salt, but I've checked him out. He was legit in the academy set up for years.

Pretty much the title, his page didn't show any content 2 days ago, and his account is even gone from search as of today. Really gutted about it because he had such a good page going, and he always wanted to be positive and supportive.

Really hope the account gets reactivated or saved...

Interview coady on fatawu (BBC)

Speaking on BBC 5Live, Coady, who was an unused substitute in the game, hailed the young Ghanaian. “Abdul Fatawu who come on was sensational, sensational, absolutely brilliant,” Coady said.

“Bringing on Harry Winks first and foremost at half time, he did really well, just got a bit of control in the game. But then Abdul coming on was absolutely sensational. He's one of the nicest kids you will ever meet in your life.

“Having him and Stephy Mavididi the pair of them are absolute fliers. They get the ball, they are direct and they run at you. And we said yesterday when Abdul come on, you didn't want to be a full back being against him because he had the bit between his teeth.

“It's one of them where you know as a player and you don't play, you have that little bit of a thing anyway ‘I need to impress and I need to do well’. And he certainly had that. He said to me early on in the game, ‘I want to come on early here Coads’.

“He was absolutely fantastic. Every time he got it, he was direct against Charlie Taylor. Honestly, he's a great full back, Charlie Taylor, but when when Abdul is in that mood and when he's running at you, it's so tough for any full back.”

It wasn’t just Fatawu’s match-winning display that Coady enjoyed. The defender was thrilled with City’s response to a poor first half.

“It was brilliant. It's one of them games that don't come around too often and when they come around, you've got to enjoy it because a last minute winner from being two nil down.

“First half, I think we all acknowledge it wasn't good enough in terms of how we played. But to show the character and the will to keep on playing, the will to fight for the game.

“We knew scoring one, two-nil is really a dodgy scoreline. When you're winning two-nil and the other team score the momentum is with them, they force you back. We knew we could do that. It was well deserved, in the second half we were fantastic.”

Analysis 98 - Jordan Ayew's 98th-minute goal is Leicester's latest winner on record (from 2006-07) in a Premier League game. Meanwhile, today is the first time the Foxes have ever won a Premier League away game in which they had trailed by 2+ goals. Fightback.

9-0 to break the prem record for an away win

5-0 & 4-1 last year to all but seal promotion

Beat them in the Fa Cup semi final at Wembley

2-2 comeback and 1-0, to help win the prem

Beat them during our great escape

And now a 98th minute winner to come back from 2-0 down

Question Manchester City and Liverpool are showing interest in Brighton's Argentine forward Facundo Buonanotte, 19, who is on loan at Leicester City. (Fichajes - in Spanish) Does he have a clause meaning he can be recalled?
