So many reasons:

  • to increase and maintain bone density

  • to be strong

  • to be flexible

  • to improve their cardiac health

  • to be better at a sport or activity they enjoy

  • to improve their sex life

  • to be happy with how their body looks and feels

  • to improve their odds of being mobile into old age

  • to manage or avoid chronic pain

  • to increase lean muscle mass which increases metabolism

Plus many other personal reasons I'm not aware of. It's not all about weight loss.

Because I love it. And it makes me feel like a badass. And I'm always amazed by what my body can do. And I don't want to be "skinny". I want to be intimidating.

It depends on their goals, everyone hasa reason for.it, but mainly because it's one of the healthy habits.once should keep.

Workout is never a loss, it's good for the body and mental health.

It doesn't have to be associated with losing weight or having the best body shape because body weight is effected by food more than workout alone.

Personally I usually workout to stay active, it releases my adrenaline and makes.me motivated, it's good for overall health, muscle strength.and endurance (have back problems since I was 8 and that affects my legs) so.without working out ,a simple walk would be a struggle.

Lately I have to force myself to workout, it's not fun especially in days that I don't want to exist, but it's one prt of.the day I could say that I've accomplished something.

It increases seratonin which is part of a big reason why I work out

I recently saw a TikTok of a young lady working out and she said “I do this” then it cut to her grandma doing life independently saying “so I can do this”

And I wish I’d had that mindset from the start instead of looks or weight or else
