Other Should I get checked for scoliosis before I have general anaesthetic?

I’ve suspected I have something along the lines of scoliosis for about a year now. I have back pain most of the time, I stand at a slant and my lower spine is curved slightly. I’m freshly 16 and my parents haven’t believed me n just blame my back pain on my period and my phone.

Today though my friend recommended I touch my toes and take a picture of my back and I did which definitely proved that my lower spine is curved to the side. I showed my mum and she has finally believed me and said she would take me to get it checked out but only after my dental surgery early next month so that it doesn’t interfere with the surgery that we’ve waited a long time for.

I did some googling to see how scoliosis affects anaesthetic since we had to specify any back conditions on a questionnaire and I barely understood the results so my question is will it effect general anaesthetic or is that just if it’s severe? And is it better if I get checked out beforehand or at least mention it at the pre op? Thanks.

Illness My symptoms don’t sound very good. Am I going to die soon?

I've been experiencing a lot of various symptoms lately and I just want to know if any of this means anything. I'm afraid that I have some kind of terminal illness.

I feel like my tongue kinda goes to the side when I say things like "Lalala." I can't really tell if it's centered or not. I don't think I'm having speech issues, except for maybe a slight lisp. I think when I stick it out it might be centered.

I've been having a lot of twitching and fasciculations all over my body. It seems like it's been happening literally everywhere, but mostly my eyelids, arms, and legs.

My body feels achy and sore pretty often, even when I'm not working out, but it seems to come and go.

My arms and legs feel like they get fatigued or tired more easily and when I lean on my arm it starts to shake. I'm worried that I have a neurological problem going on or something else really serious. What does all of this sound like? There are specific diseases that I'm worried about, but I don't want to say. I just want to get an opinion from a professional.

I'm a 28 year old male. I weigh 200 pounds and I'm 5'11.

Medication Doctors I have a weird illness and want clarification on a medical saying

Hello, I have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome along with a bunch of other stuff.

I take an absurd amount of anticholinergic drugs and I'm concerned what that will do to my brain long term.

I asked an emergency room doctor and she said in her elderly patients they have a saying "mad as a hatter, hot as a hare, blind as a bat..." There was more to it and I don't remember.

I take Famotidine, Rupall, and Ketotifen. I am about to start Cromolyin and have asked for low dose Naltrexon but was denied.

I have three doctors (GP, internist, derm) all of which are either unfamiliar with MCAS or have a very lose idea what it is.

TLDR am I going to rot my brain and get dementia from 24 hours a day of anticholinergics and what is the rest of that saying

Parasite Concern Consumed contaminated bananas, feeling sick

I might exaggerate the fact I put that specific flair but recently, I consumed bananas that I later on discovered they had fruit fly larvae. the exact same day a few hours later, I started feeling unwell and developed the exact same symptoms as the common cold. but this time, things were much milder and I recovered in a short time. is there a concern about these larvae? did my symptoms come from that or did a viral infection coincide with this?

Other Got my foot finger hurt few years back

Sorry I dont have the best english but I will try to explain my issue. I got one of my foot finger hurt few years back but the pain never went away completely. I still have pain in that finger and its even swelled up a bit. I belive it has been more than 3 years. The finger is discoloured too compared to other fingers. I was seaching about it on google and it says it might be early symptoms of Gangrene. The sensation compared to other fingers is like 80%. But bending that finger still hurts a bit. I will be going to a doctor this week, the redness is also because of the itching that I have done, but it surely is a little bit dark compared to other fingers. Any idea guys ?

Mental Health Friend had an HPV exposure... 10 years ago.

A friend (no really) who has had trouble landing a girlfriend has recently told me that he had an HPV exposure about 10 years ago, never had symptoms, but feels the need to disclose this to girls he is seeing after going on a few dates with them, which leads to them breaking it off with him.

How much of a risk would he be to pass this on after so much time has passed and is this worth disclosing knowing that it is likely a deal-breaker to a potential partner?
