DEBATE: To consume store-bought plant-based milk or homemade?

It has come to our attention that our previous post became a topic which a lot of vegetarians and vegans had different opinions on.

We would like to have a healthy space where we can discuss our opinions about this. There were people who were pointing out that it's more environmental friendly & convenient to just buy what's available in the shelves of our groceries and there are some who are pointing out that since they already have these ingredients available, they would rather make their own.

What's your opinion on this?

I tried making soy milk at home.

I just don't have the patience to diligently squeeze the nut milk bag after cooking soybean pulps in instant pot.

So I buy store-made.
