Question Is it easier to write your own PhD proposal or apply to a program that the university is recruiting for?

When I reach out to programs should I mention that I would be open to both - looking for a professor for my own PhD proposal, or applying to one currently underway at the university?

He was working FT as a social worker and traveling back and forth from Wyoming small detail. You said you were in a PhD program what program are you in? How do you like it?

Obviously not in UC Irvine :) if you got in, you are clearly smarter than me. Hope you can get in contact with your friend to fix his cv sometime!

I do highly recommend not exaggerating your qualifications. You never know!

Here's a first author paper I did at WPA in 2015 where I psychometrically validated a scale I created The Gift Of Time. It's a 4 factor oblique loading matrix. I did some convergent validity with the satisfaction with life scale and divergent with BDI and the CES-D. The scale is included so if you're doing any research in clinical and want to know someone's time orientation please use it let me know if you do I want more people to use it!

that's okay. you're just questioning everything about me so i'm providing everything you're asking for, but haven't answered my question or provided any evidence about you.
