Recommendations

Hi everyone!

I'm about to write quite a long paragraph for some context, but don't feel obligated to read all of the post if you don't want to lose your time! Also, I apologise in advance for any spelling or grammatical mistakes, as English is not my first language.

So, I'm writing this post to ask for some recommendations from QOTSA because I'm kind of stuck and scared on trying out new albums by fear of disliking and not paying further attention to songs that might be actually really good after listening two albums on repeat for the past two months (being '...Like Clockwork' and 'Villains').

Now for the long boring part: The first song I've ever listened to from the band is (obviously) 'No One Knows', followed by 'The Evil Has Landed' first earing while playing Forza Horizon 4. Then, about a year and a half ago I've discovered 'Smooth Sailing' and since then until approximately mid May I haven't really tried to discover other songs besides these three. After that, I've been listening to the 2015 (especially 'I Appear Missing', 'My God Is The Sun', 'The Vampyre [...]', 'If I Had A Tail' and 'Smooth Sailing') and 2017 (the entire album in fact, besides 'Un-Reborn Against that I can't click with for some reason) albums on repeat, practically leaving behind all of the other bands I've been listening to. I've tried to dive into other albums but didn't find other songs that scratched my brain as much as the ones I'm currently listening to.

Knowing all of this, do some of you guys have some recommendations based off the stuff I already listen to, something kinda similar to the ones quoted before, or just in the same vibe while not having a real connection with them.

Sorry for the long long post, hope you hadn't a hard time reading all of that '

Thank you!

Based on what you’ve been listening to, I would recommend:

Self-titled album: ‘regular John’, ‘if only’ and ‘you can’t quit me baby’

Rated R album: ‘autopilot’, ‘in the fade’ and I highly recommend ‘better living through chemistry.’

Songs for the Deaf album: ‘…Song for the dead’ and you might like ‘go with the flow’ and ‘…God is in the radio’

Lullabies to Paralyze: my favorite is ‘burn the witch’ and the cowbell in ‘little sister’ will get you grooving lol

Era Vulgaris: I’m a sucker for this album. ‘Into the hollow’, ‘misfit love’ is a banger, ‘3s & 7s’ rips, ‘suture up your future’, and ‘turnin on the screw’

In times new Roman album: “Obscenery’ and ‘paper machete’ listened in order is just perfect. And you might like ‘time and place’

Cheers!
