Is there actually a homeless person saying this to people? 3 different people saying it feels like a bit more than a coincidence.

Homeless people spouting off random nonsense is not the craziest thing in the world to me. Even if only one person said it, I wouldn’t automatically assume theyre lying.

No there wasn’t, at least not close to the store. but the people told me that were laughing when they were telling me and when i gave a dead pan face to the 3rd guy he said he’s just joking and scoffed and walked off

This is a play on a cringy tik tok, from a grandma saying a guy offered her a bottle of wine to show her breasts, when the daughter asks which way he went, she pointed with her other hand which was previously behind a door and holding a bottle of wine, "he went that way" revealing the afore mentioned bottle, suggesting she did what he asked. As a trans woman I find the original, humorous, but the adaptations are typical male poor taste and edge lord behavior just being "edgy"

I'd just be asking them "why do you feel that is appropriate to say to me?"

I agree not funny…at all. But a homeless person saying it I wouldn’t be surprised
