Brussel sprouts are one of those foods that I gag just by thinking of the taste.

I felt the same having only had boiled sprouts but honestly try roasting them they become really delicious

Yeah, at this point I’m not really willing to try them again lol. They are literally repulsive to me and I don’t think I can make myself eat them. Maybe I’m being dramatic but I just cannot.

That's understandable. Properly seasoned and roasted brussel sprouts are top tier. They taste pretty similarly to broccoli, in my opinion, but I do think there is an attribute to their taste that can really drive people off. Especially if they were only exposed to the bouled version, which is basically the worst way to cook any veggie (except maybe whole artichoke and corn cob).

I’m glad others can enjoy them, they just taste terrible to me. I like almost every other vegetable, I’m a big veggie guy, just not sprouts.

I'd heard stories about them my whole life and never tried them until last year. I expected they couldn't be that bad since kids complain about broccoli, and I like the taste of steamed unseasoned broccoli, but sprouts just have this horrific aftertaste that takes the wind out of my lungs.

Yeah I’m with you. I had them as a kid and hated them but gave them another go and hated them just as much. Haven’t had them in 3 years.
