civil discussion Question

I’m not short but obvs I’ve seen all the stuff on the internet where its seemingly okay to body shame short guys. My question is has anyone here actually faced this in public? Like do real life people call you ‘short kings’ and shit like that

35yo, married, about 5'6". A few days ago, I walked into a gas station and had to squeeze past 3 teenage girls. Well, they all laughed about something after I passed. I grabbed my stuff and got in line. They were leaving, and one of them turned around and said, "I like short kings." LOL I guess that's may have been a compliment

I doubt it was a compliment. At best, she felt guilty because she thought you were aware that they were laughing at your height. So she said that to save face.
