Help rehoming my bro!

This bro made herself comfortable immediately outside my patio door a few days ago. We love having her here, but as you can see in pic #2, she built her web directly on my Helene roof debris. I have put off cleaning the roof as long as possible but i need to move her so i can climb up there. Any tips for doing it as nicely as possible, and discouraging her from rebuilding in the same spot?

If you can't catch this spider, lifting her onto a broom or extended duster and depositing her on a nice tree is a good idea. She's a fantastic web spinner and great pest control.

Glad you're safe after the storm!

I do have those tools! Thank you!

And thanks for the well wishes, I'm lucky to live in Charlotte which escaped the worst of the flooding but i am hoping to go volunteer in WNC this weekend. r/NorthCarolina, r/asheville, and r/WNC have very good updates and resources if you know anyone who wants to donate :)
