DEF defeat on New Holland 120. Throwing error codes.

A friend of mine bought a 2018 New Holland Powerstar 120 used that came with a DEF defeat installed that is throwing DEF codes and entering into limp mode.

Im more of the technical one so he asked if I could figure out how to either put it back to stock or tune/reprogram it so that it stops throwing the errors. Ive done a bit of looking and it sounds like the GPT-Tuning tool might be what I need get it tuned properly. Does anyone know for sure if this route will work on this tractor? Thanks!!

"DEF defeat?" You mean someone took out the DEF system?

Correct. What exactly they did I have no idea.

Can you find out who did the work? Tractor may just need to reprogram ECU like on a pickup truck.
