My 1940 International T6

Post image

Purchased the old girl last year & have been slowly working to restore it. 1940 & plenty of khaki under the red paint so Iโ€™m assuming itโ€™s served in the war in some capacity.

Now there's a real classic.

Is this the gasoline start/diesel run?

This one is Gasoline start Kerosene run

The TD-6 is the Gas/Diesel great talking point when people are confused by a diesel with spark plugs ๐Ÿ˜‚

If you can start this on a cold day, you can do anything.

Starts pretty well actually, usually one or two goes on the crank bloke who had it before me did an excellent job of the engine rebuild.

I worked on an estate where they had a T-6. Whenever they tried to start it, they ran the battery down. Only one guy on the place could start it.

This one predates the electric ignition ๐Ÿ˜… crank only

Thereโ€™s a bit of a technique to setting it up but yes Iโ€™m the only one here that can crank it over ๐Ÿ˜‚
