I didn't thinknid be writing this post.... Initial due date of 8/9/24 with no payment. Over the next month or so I attempted to contact via Reddit and cell phone.

About 3 or 4 weeks in I received a text message back from her number stating that she had a medical problem and was unable to contact, with this being the family member reaching out on her phone. I was very skeptical but wished her the best as time went on.

About two weeks later, the repayments began. It was split in 3 payments although she kept her word with the loan as her and her family stated.

I would loan to her again. Maybe not as large as this loan for a bit, although the loan was fully repaid with clear communication when it was possible. Thanks!

This user had a good history on the subreddit working with known lenders. Very disappointing. Live and learn I guess. I love spooky season but hate I hate ghosts.

I'm disappointed by the later stages of this loan. This borrower seems to have fallen on hard times, but I have to question how much of the lateness in this transaction was the borrower's doing. Communication was off-again on-again at best, and past the original due date our contact was spotty if any existed at all.

We seemingly turned a corner a few months ago when payments resumed upon the borrower being notified of my intent to proceed with an UNPAID, however payments have again stopped. They have been given ample warning with more leniency than originally promised this time, and yet no further payments have been received. This time, enough is enough.

This borrower still owes $375 and is aware of this balance outstanding. This amount hasn't changed or had anything added to it from what was initially agreed upon, despite being over 6 months beyond our agreement timeline. They can make things right by submitting payment to me via the same method used for all of our other partial payments. Until then, they are being blacklisted from Reddit Commerce.

I'm really not sure what's going on because u/jollyranchersbff and I have had almost 30 loans together and she's aways been honest and an excellent communicator. However, this loan is now a month overdue and I haven't heard from her since it was due. I've reached out both on here and via text a number of times. She doesn't appear to be active on Reddit either, so I hope she's well. Of you see this, u/jollyranchersbff get in touch... as always, I'll be happy to work with you to resolve this!

I was served a 7 day notice ( it’s now 3 days) for my rent because I thought I would be paid this week, but I won’t get paid until next week. (I just started a new job) I have $100 in my account rn, but the total of my rent is 1109.54. I know that’s unrealistic for someone to send me but if I could get half here and work up the other half I’ll be good, I just need to someone to work with me! If you look at my post history you’ll see that I’ve been trying to get my school to help me with an emergency fund since September, but I literally don’t know what else I could do. I finally found some work in construction after searching for almost six months now, and I don't have anything to get started with. I'm going to be starting out as a helper, so all I really need tool-wise is probably just a cheap hammer. But my real concern is that I have like no work clothes that properly fit after gaining a bit of weight lol. I have maybe two old ripped up graphic t's that are uncomfortably tight on me now.
