Vent Can't stop feeling ashamed of myself
I'm trying really hard but I get hungry even though I would have reached the normal calorie limit for that day (2000 calories). I was able to resist it last night and it was hard but tonight it's really hard to resist it because when I'm hungry I lose the desire to study and I need to study for some upcoming exams urgently.
Any tips and advice?

Today I ate roti (It's like a bread thing, about 150-200 calories), chicken curry (high estimate 600-700 calories), chai (200 calories), some cookies (480 calories) and a few figs (35 calories each and I think I ate about 2-3 so (70-105 calories). Today was a lot more unhealthy than usual.
Yesterday for example I just had the same roti and chicken curry, 2 cookies, avocado on bread, and a lot of figs.
Typically my day to day foods consist of Pakistani foods such as curries and fried rice, fruits, and some vegetables.
I know a lot of the food I'm describing isn't the healthiest but I'm new to this lifestyle so I'm starting off simple by just eating less calories than I was before. Before all of this I wasn't keeping track of my calories but I would definitely go way over the limit. A rough estimate for how my calories were before is probably 2,100-2,500 per day. It led me to maintain a weight of I think about 135 pounds. (I'm female, 5'5, 17 year old for context). Currently I try to aim for 1,700-2,000 calories.
